Horse Trekking in Chinggis Khaan’s Land (10 days)
Overview
A remarkable horse trekking tour named "Following the footsteps of Chinggis Khaan". The trip goes back to the 13th Century and experiences the life of a Mongolian legend. There is no better way to explore Mongolia on horseback.
Chinggis Khaan conquered lands riding his 8 light bay horses, which none of his entourage was allowed to touch. But at this time, his geldings are waiting just for you in Khentii National Park- a beautiful combination of forest, mountain, steppe, rivers, and lakes. To evoke the spirit and time of Genghis Khan, each participant can wear traditional costumes and accessories of the time, while riding through the landscape that has not much changed since the time of Chinggis Khaan.
We guarantee this trip will be an experience you will never forget.

We believe that comfortable, welcoming accommodation is vital to the enjoyment of your trip. You will be staying in a standard 3-4 star hotel in Ulaanbaatar and a tourist ger camp (traditional dwelling) with currency (220V), shower and other useful services (2 to 4 people per ger) in the countryside. All accommodation offered by Discover Mongolia is personally checked by our staff to ensure high standards.
