July 01. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and city tour
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. You'll be greeted at the airport and escorted to your hotel. After lunch take a half-day city tour including a visit to the National History Museum, where you will see artifacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present and an excursion to the Zaisan Hill War Memorial to get your bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city. Overnight in the hotel. (L+D)
July 02. Drive to Hotont soum of Arkhangai province and prepare for
horseback riding tour
Today's destination is a Hotont sum of Arkhangai aimag. You will meet your horse guide and prepare for horseback riding tour. Overnight in tourist ger camp near Hotont sum. (B+L+D)
July 03-05. Horseback riding tour to Arkhangai aimag
After breakfast at the camp, we will start horse riding tour in area of Arkhangai /central Mongolia /aimag. Your guide, a local horseman, will accompany you, giving you the chance to discover the life and food of a nomadic family and horsemen during the tour. On the third day overnight in tourist Ger camp. July 06-07. Horse back riding tour to Orkhon waterfall
Up early to continue the horse back riding tour to Orkhon waterfall. At first the terrain will be wide open valleys then mountain Fresh River before finally changing to a forested mountain and 20ms wonderful waterfall. Visit the family of a horseman. You are free to taste the favorite drink of Mongolians - airag, fermented mare’s milk. Overnight at tourist Ger camp and tent. (B+L+D)
July 08. Visit the Tuvkhun monastery complex
After breakfast trip to Tuvhun which is one of most beautiful monastery complex, situated on a forested rocky mountain. Then we will drive to Khugnu khan Mountain natural reserve. Visit to a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forest and Gobi-type in one location. The small monastery Uvgun (Old temple) will be quite interesting spot – by walking or horse riding. July 09. Drive to Karakorum, visit the site of Ancient capital
Today's destination is the symbolic ruins of Karakorum, which was the capital city of Great Mongol Empire founded in the 13th century by Genghis Khan. You will also visit the oldest Monastery Erdene-Zuu built in 1586, with 108 stupas. Overnight in tourist camp near Orkhon river. (B+L+D)
July 10. Local Naadam festival preview and enjoy a real Mongolian barbeque
Today we will see the Naadam Festival including wrestling, horse racing, archery and traditional games. In the evening you can enjoy a national folklore performance. Enjoy a real Mongolian barbeque which is grilled with hot stones, and has a unique taste.Overnight in tourist Ger camp. (B+L+D)
July 11. Local Naadam festival and See the Takhi, the Asian wild horse
After watching second day of Naadam including wrestling, archery and traditional games, we will drive to Hustai National Park and see the Takhi, the Asian wild horse. Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. Visit Takhi's small museum and overnight in tourist camp. (B+L+D)
July 12. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and city tour options Top 
Drive back from the camp to Ulaanbaatar. Enjoy Naadam Festival in Ulaanbaatar. You may choose a city tour where you can visit souvenir and cashmere shops before an evening concert of National Folklore. A farewell dinner and overnight in the hotel. (B+L+D)
July 13. Departure Mongolia.
After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport. (B)
Rider Requirements: Due to the sometimes arduous nature of the riding trips, we would recommend riders are in good health before booking the trip. The weight limit is 220 pounds, and sorry but we cannot take any pregnant riders. We screen for any health conditions that might be affected by the 8,000 ft. elevation (heart, lungs, elevation sickness, sun etc.) If in any doubt, please ask us first.
