I would like to highly recommend Discover Mongolia Travel - it was a seamless, end-to-end engagement where they took care of everything. Coming into a country for the first time, we are usually very antsy working with local tour companies but Discover Mongolia put all of that to rest. Our travel advisor Bogi was extremely helpful in creating our itinerary and gave a very knowledgeable overview when I called her via Whatsapp. She was very professional, an amiable young lady who went the extra mile and surprised the heck out of us by serving as our guide during the weekend city part of our tour. I honestly believe that wasn't even part of her job but she went all out and made sure we had a great time. For the Gobi Desert segment of our tour, I was very pleased with the accommodations that were granted for us - the luxury gers in the middle of nowhere could rival a good 4-5 star hotel. Of course, internet signal is practically non existent in the desert and we couldn't go by several days without checking back on business back home. Our guide Epo is an energetic young guy who once again went beyond his duty and actually lent us his phone each night to serve as a hotspot. This was a lifesaver and really made our trip. Epo's guide style is more like a local friend bringing you around rather than the "official guide" spiel which gets tiresome after awhile. He was proactive and remarkably self aware to our needs during the duration of our stay at the Gobi. Our Gobi driver had 16 years experience traversing the nothingness of the desert, and was low key a funny guy if only he spoke English. Our Ulaanbaatar driver Daamba was very respectful and on-time, and he actually waited at the airport all day for us to fulfill the agreed upon transfer as our flight got delayed out of a Beijing layover ( we've had experiences where the driver just simply left) Overall, I would highly recommend this seemingly underrated company if you're out on holiday in Mongolia. They're one of the best ones I've worked with all year.

Our guide tour, Oyunaa and Zorigoo make my experience at Mongolia wonderful. Good food, nice place to stay. I will take my family to Mongolia in the future and will use service with "Discover Mongolia" again.

Beautiful landscapes, great weather, friendly people, good food and comfortable accommodations. Our guide and driver (Oyunaa and Zorigoo) were very professional, helpful, friendly and informative. I really learned a lot about Mongolian culture and society from Oyunaa and she really put extra care into arranging the schedule to make sure we get everything we want. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Discover Mongolia to anyone interested and will certainly use this company's service again the next time I visit Mongolia.

I recently participated in an off road 10 journey of Gobi on the Beauty of Mongolia Tour. And it was beyond my expectations. Magical. The itinerary is excellent and although there is alot of driving when we arrived at each destination it was well worth it. I loved staying in the Ger's they were much more comfortable and appealing then I thought. There was only one location was the Ger was a bit buggy but the view made up for it. The food all along the journey was excellent. The special encounters with local families added a genuine flavour to the trip. As a former tour guide and avid traveler I must add that while an itinerary is what we go for, the guide and driver really make a difference and not all guides are alike. My group of 3 was blessed to have Khishig Jargal as our guide who is seasoned and I believe the top guide at this company from my experience. She kept us on track while allowing for free flow and spontaneous changes. She knew where to be at what time for the best experience. And she was loads of fun to have with us for 10 days. We also had a fabulous driver unfortunately I do not recall his name who was kind and courtesy, always kept out van clean and as far I know was the only driver with a device charger in the van which we LOVED and needed. There are from time to time a few glitches with the front office just be mindful and follow up on details. I had opportunity to meet the owner of the company who is very open to suggestions. The one piece I didn't care for is that our guide left us with two days left in the trip and we were given to another guide. I strongly feel that the guide you start with is the one you end up with. We encountered many tour companies along the way and I truly feel I made the best choice with Discover Mongolia. Please note off roading can be very hard on the body. Book post trip massages.

My mother and I went on an 8 day private tour in Mongolia through Discover Mongolia. They were very accommodating to our needs and pacing of different tours. The tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. The drivers were trustworthy, attentive, and extremely polite. The service we received from the guides, drivers, and ger camp staff exceeded our expectations as well. Everything was organized to a tee! We would recommend this company to anyone looking for a memorable time in Mongolia!
