My family and myself decided to travel to Mongolia with very little information of what will we find there. First, we found out that we needed visa and it had to be done through an agency, so after looking at some many webs we decided to give a try with “Discover Mongolia Travel “I have to tell you that I’m not a big fan of a tours, but this time I didn’t have any option and I don’t regret about that decision.
First, we decided to make the trip within a week, so our travel agent Oyunaa was simply amazing and beyond her job. She sent all the documents for the visa approval, and after we got it, she bought the tickets and literally she trusted in our word that we will make the tour with them with the condition that we will pay the agency as soon as we landed into Mongolia. We couldn’t transfer the money before because it was weekend and they will not get the money on time. For us it was simply astonishing that she could make everything so fast and professional. Definitely, an excellent travel advisor.
Second, our mother tongue is Spanish so Oyunaa found the perfect tour guide Bold!!! He has a tremendous knowledge not only about Mongolia, also about history around the world. We spent so much time asking questions and he was so kind and patient explaining us everything in different ways, so we could understand better. We spent 5 days together, and what we learned from him, from the places and from the history, is simply surprising. We visited Eagle Valley, Sand dunes, Bayanzag, Ongi Temple, Kharkhorin and Khustai National Park. It seems tight trip, but every day we saw so many beautiful places, the landscape was simply wow and thanks to Nandia, our driver and Bold, this trip to Mongolia was simply beyond our expectations.
In all the Ger camps, we had 3 meals per day, and believe me, the food was so good!!! Facilities were clean and tidy.
Finally, 4 of us recommended Discover Mongolia 100%! They are very professional, they listen to your needs and give you options to decide.
If you decide to go to Mongolia, don’t hesitate to contact them, you will not regret about it! We simply love it!
Regards,
Natalia, Samara, Jorge and Andres
Trip planning and preparation process can be nerve-racking. And I’m telling you, it’s a lot of work! But if you have someone professional to assist you, mistakes can be avoided, any problems can be solved, and time will be saved. We always proud of our travel advisors who are reliable, compassionate, and caring.
And having knowledgeable guides with a good command of English and other languages is very important for us. They ensure that our visitors have the best possible experience and really get to feel like a local.

Excellent and amazing trip!!!!!! +++++
As a single vegetarian traveler I could join a small international group for a 10 days visit to Ulaanbataar, the Eagle festival and The Altai mountains. I had an excellent contact via mail with Oyuna. Once in Mongolia all was perfect.
Pick up from and to the airport, the tours; guides and drivers and cook were very good. We had very good (vegetarian (for me)) meals during and after the tour in local restaurants.
I can recommend Discover Mongolia to everyone. It is advised to take a travel agent because the Mongolian language is impossible to read (street names) and understand. When driving in Mongolia’s nature without GPS signal or street signs, so you do need an experienced driver. I can say it is so beautiful and great that I would love to go again!!!! Discover Mongolia definitely deserves a 5 star review *****
One of the strongest factors that makes trips unforgettable is definitely the food! It’s no secret that everyone wants to taste that nation’s traditional meals and feel their uniqueness.
There are many tourists with special requests when it comes to food. Like our slogan “Treat our guests as our family members”, we always aim to do our best to meet the requests. Although Mongolian meat is absolutely tasty and healthy, there are 375 million vegetarians worldwide. It has always been pleasure serving our vegan tourists alongside our experienced staff.

We did a four-day tour with Discover Mongolia. The communication was excellent throughout - from before we arrived to Mongolia to when we were picked up at our hotel by the guide and driver. The tour was excellent - enjoyed all of the activities (Chinggis Khan statue, Kharkhorin, camel riding, horseback riding, Terelj Park and more), we were able to stay in tourist ger camps for the three nights and each of them had their own pros and cons - obviously you don't have all the Western comforts, but I especially appreciated our last ger camp which even had someone come in at 6 AM to build up the fire for us so we could wake up in warmth! I was also impressed by the food throughout the tour. Overall, highly recommend Discover Mongolia - it can be challenging to plan a trip from a far and these guys made it easy.
Okay, you found your trip advisor, the best guide and driver. But what if travel activities were unsatisfying? What if destination you visited was not how you expected? Carefully planned and developed tour itinerary plays an important part in our service. According to our visitors’ age, interest, and special requests, we plan trips and create a personalized day-by-day itineraries just to be aware that our clients can visualize their trip as much as possible.

WOW!!! If Mongolia isn't on your bucket list, it should be!
My interest in Mongolia dates back to 2005, when a tour guide in China mentioned that, of the tours he led, Mongolia was by far his favorite. My husband and I signed up for the 8-day Taste of Mongolia tour, and it was AMAZING. The scenery, the wide-open spaces, the wildlife, the history, the culture, the people, our guide & driver...all WOW! Bonus points: unlike so many tours these days, Discover Mongolia tours really are all-inclusive. They don't nickel & dime you at every turn with "optional" extras. Do be aware (you'd think this doesn't need to be said): ger camps in Mongolia are surprisingly comfortable, and a very cool experience, but 4-star hotels they are not. Pack a proper sense of adventure and you will be rewarded many times over.
One of top questions every traveler ask us is undoubtedly “staying in a ger”. What is it like to sleep in a ger? Do we have electricity? Can it be comfortable? …etc. In fact, I have no doubt that many specialists will recommend you to stay in a Mongolian ger as for memorable travel experiences. Even some people who were hesitating about its comfort feel amazed afterwards. Besides, you travel to feel all the uniqueness, right?

Wow, Mongolia what a fantastic gem you are!!!
After searching online for a tour company to travel Mongolia with we settled on Discover Mongolia and didn't regrett it for a minute.
Starting in Ulaanbaatar and spending the day touring this fantastic city with our city guide Goomaral we got to enjoy all that Ulaanbaatar had to offer.
The following day we flew to the South Gobi city of Dalanzadgad. Here we met our driver Nandin and our guide Togoso who we would be travelling overland throughout Mongolia over the next 14 days.
Our guide Togoso and our driver Nandia made the journey very easy and enjoyable, and even though on some days we spent a long time in our car Togoso would keep us entertained with many stories of Mongolia and answered our hundreds of questions on everything from local life to the vast history Mongolia has to offer.
We could always rely on Nandia to get us to our next destination even though through most of Mongolia there were no roads, just the tracks of a vehicle that may of travelled before you and occasionally we even made our own tracks going cross-country!!!!
By choosing to travel mostly by overland, it was a great way to see such a diverse change of scenery from the deserts in the South Gobi, to the lakes and forests of the Khovsgol area.
Along the way to get to marvel at the fantastic wildlife and the way of life of Mongolia's many nomadic people. Animal life we witnessed along the way included Eagles, Ibex, Wild Stallions, Bactrian Camels, goats, cowes, horses, sheep, ground squirrels - all without a single fence in sight!!! The scenery, wildlife & people we met along the way made memories that will stay in our minds for years to come.
Some major highlights for us were meeting a couple of Nomad family's and appreciating how hard their way of life is.
Another highlight was experiencing the local Nadaam Festivities in the local region of Kharakhorum. This festival was amazing - the horse racing consisted of 20/25 kilometre races ridden by jockeys aged between 5 & 16!!! As well as the wrestling and archery competitions , there was also so much colour everywhere as all the locals wore their best outfits for the event!!
Our accommodations in the "Ger" camps changed each night , some were fantastic and some were just comfortable, but i consider that all part of the adventure!!
A big thanks to our guide Togoso, our driver Nandin and our Ulaanbataar city guide Goomaral who all helped make our Mongolian adventure as memorable and exciting as we were hoping ;)
